Restoration Works at Historic Khilashapur Fort
Located in Khilashapur village, about 5 km from Raghunathpalli Railway station, it is a legendary fort associated with sarvai papadu of 18th Century who had defied Mughal imperial authority. The fort is constructed on a square plan with massive bastions at four corners of the fortifications. Telangana Archaeology has undertaken conservation works here, which is one of the iconic fort structures in Telangana.
